Fedora is a stable, well-maintained, no-frills operating system that works great and stays out of your way. It's the Toyota Camry of operating systems in the most complimentary way possible. Along with KDE, you get a Windows-like interface out of the box without a lot of Microsoft's baggage.
If you're looking to try out a Linux distro and have been overwhelmed by the number of (excellent) options out there, try out Fedora KDE.
What is this site?
This site is specifically for people who are paralyzed by the sheer number of distributions available to choose from and just need a definitive answer.
What about Debian, Linux Mint, Zorin, etc?
All perfectly valid options. If those distros speak more to you than Fedora, then by all means check them out. It's much more important to me that someone tries any stable Linux distro than give up before they even start because they're too intimidated by the distro selection process.
Just pick one and start!
